Gopika is a neurodiversity consultant, author and parent advocate. She has a Masters in Journalism from Northeastern University, Boston and has written bestselling books Spiritual Parenting, Spiritual Pregnancy, Spiritual Relationships and Spiritual Success published by Hay House India.
Gopika worked with the autism intervention team at Ummeed Child Development Center, an organisation working with children with developmental disabilities for a decade, where she did therapy, conducted trainings and facilitated the WHO Caregiver Skills Training (CST) Program in Mumbai.
In February 2020, Gopika became an independent consultant and published Beyond the Blue: Love, Life and Autism, a realistic, positive book for parents of children with autism, that includes her personal and professional experiences with the condition. She is an independent consultant with Rangam Consultants on recruitment and hiring neurodivergent employees, and with Point of View on sexuality and disability. Gopika also speaks on autism and inclusion at schools, colleges, clubs and corporate organisations, and helps organisations to incorporate inclusive practices to employ autistic talent. She also hosts Beyond the Blue Chats, a show exploring the varied facets of the autism world, on video and audio platforms.
